Who Are We?
Imagine living in a society where you turn on the t.v., log into your social media account or tune into the radio...only to hear/see a story about another black girl or woman being disrespected or treated unfairly or in many cases missing. Unfortunately this is our reality and too many girls of color grow into women of color that carry immense adverse childhood experiences.
However,this will not continue to be our outcome. Black Girl Lessons serves as a resource to equip you with the tools to build confidence/strength and motivation to lead your life with excellence. The obstacles will come but we will have the “know how” to overcome.
We offer a mentorship program for girls ages 7-17. This program allows our youth to connect with a mentor that will encourage them to meet their goals and assist girls with finding their passion. We also offer a women’s empowerment program to support and inspire women (18+) to be leaders and change agents.
